About us:

Thank you for coming to check out our website! The groom Ross is 22. He graduated from Ranken Technical College with a degree in Automotive Maintenance. The Bride Celeste, also 22, graduated from St. Charles Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  They have been together for over four years now, engaged for two years. We love to travel and what a great place to start with a destination wedding in Mexico!

The Bride:

I met Ross back in 2009 when we worked together at a long term care facility. We were both still in high school, myself at Francis Howell, and Ross at Fort Zumwalt West. When I first met Ross, he was so shy and hardly said a word to me! We were friends for about a year before we even started dating. The first "real" date I remember us going on was eating ice cream out in the country, watching the sunset...sort of. Ross told me he wanted to take me on a date, which was very surprising to me because Ross is not the romantic type. He started driving out into the country, while I had no idea what was going on. I figured some kind of manly activity that he typically enjoys. He pulled over in this area that is surrounded by fields. He had stopped at Coldstone earlier and got me my favorite ice cream, that he had hidden in a cooler in the back of his truck. He said, "I got you ice cream and brought you out here to eat it while we watch the sunset." (Awww, so thoughtful!) We ate the ice cream, and realized it was going to be quite a while before the sunset still, so we just decided that was enough for us! Before I met Ross, I had never caught a fish in my life. Who had the time and patience for that right? One of the things we enjoy the most now is to go fishing together. Bowfishing, snagging, bass fishing, anything really (except fly fishing, I have only done this once!) Now believe it or not, I am the fisherman in the family! We also enjoy hunting, riding our ATV, shooting guns, and we absolutely love 1980's movies! When I am not with Ross, I spend my time working with Alzheimer's residents (which are practically my second family), playing bingo, going out to eat with friends, and catching up on all the television shows I watch! What I do I love most about my husband to be? He is patient, caring, smart, handsome, a handyman, loves the outdoors, and goes above and beyond to make me happy.

The Groom:

When I first met Celeste, it was love at first sight for me! I did everything I could to get her to notice me, but I was too quiet to say much. After we became friends and started dating, I knew I was going to marry this girl. After two years, I decided to propose. I chose to take her out to Klondike Park. We went up to the bluff where they have benches overlooking the river. I think she may have suspected something, but I did not propose. (We had been taking about rings, so she had some idea it may be coming). After awhile she looked a little disappointed, and was ready to leave. I asked her to to take a walk with me on the trail that is on the bluff, and continues along the river. We got to about as far as the trail would take us, and I picked a perfect spot overlooking the river. I asked, she said yes! (I don't remember much else, I was so nervous!)  While Celeste and I enjoy a majority of the same hobbies, in my spare time I also like to go mountain biking, look for arrowheads in creeks in the area, play golf, and work on cars. We chose to have a destination wedding because of our love for the outdoors, and Mexico is a new, different adventure for us. Not to mention the resort looks awesome!
